EA FC 27: Release Date, The Grounds, Cover Stars & Everything We Know

Published 2026-08-20 · DB.Coins Blog

EA Sports has officially pulled back the curtain on EA Sports FC 27, and the next generation of Ultimate Team is closer than you think.

Key dates

Players who buy the Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Plus Edition get up to seven days of early access — so the FC 27 market will already be alive a full week before standard-edition players get in.

Cover stars

Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham front the covers this year, headlining what EA calls its biggest launch lineup yet.

The Grounds: FC goes open-world

The headline new feature is The Grounds — an open-world social hub where up to 100 players can gather, show off their clubs, and jump into matches together. It's the biggest structural change to the FC series since Volta, and it hints at EA pushing FC towards being a social platform, not just a match engine.

Platforms

FC 27 launches on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

What this means for Ultimate Team players

Every new title launch resets the economy: everyone starts from zero, early packs matter more, and the first promos (Ones to Watch, early TOTWs) define the meta for months. The players who dominate early are the ones who plan their coin strategy before launch week.

We'll be covering every FC 27 Ultimate Team reveal, leak and promo right here — and when the new market opens, DB.Coins will be ready on day one with safe trading that increases your coin balance across PC and console.
